WMF Empowerment Scholarship for Students from Developing Country – Are you a citizen of developing countries? Are you planning to continue your study in college or university? WMF (Wells Mountain Foundation) has partnered with ETE (Empowerment through Education) offers free education for developing countries students. ETE provides undergraduate scholarship for the citizen of developing nations to get their education in their home country or neighboring country. Scholarship Value

If you are awarded such scholarship, you will get many benefits. The scholarship amounts is from 300 USD up to 3000 USD annually. Also, it is provided throughout the undergraduate education of the recipients. Thus, the average scholarship is approximately 1400 USD. The recipients may use the scholarship for tuition fee, materials, books, and living expense.  


Before registering, it is also important for you to know that there are some specific criteria that you must be able to fulfill. Not everyone is eligible and can register; only candidates who meet the terms and conditions can indeed register and get opportunities. Those eligible to apply are

  1. Any citizen in developing nations
  2. Have graduated from secondary school with excellent grades
  3. Have chosen the college or university in the home country or another developing country
  4. Having commitment and plan to live and work in home country after graduate
  5. Has done volunteering activity or having interest in volunteering while receiving such scholarship
  6. Have some funds available for education even though just a little bit

  2. Complete the application form
  3. Submit the form
  4. Provide some documents such as
  5. Photos of you at school, volunteering activity, or participating in other activities
  6. A completed academic semester report
  7. Official receipt of tuition payment for schools
  8. Official copy of grades

Besides through online application, you can also apply via postal mail to the office of WMF or ETE.
